SPB.N News – Online Desk: Three people, including two students, were injured in a factional clash between two groups of Dhaka College unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) on Saturday night.

The injured were identified as Rasel and Mamun, students of Dhaka College, and Kajol, 28.

Deputy Commissioner (Ramna Division) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Maruf Hossain Sardar said the two groups of BCL leaders and activists locked into a clash over establishing supremacy on the college campus on Saturday evening.

The two groups chased each other around campus and at least four motorcycles were set on fire during the clash, according to Maruf Sardar. Witnesses said they heard gunshots during the clash.

The situation is now under control, Marus Sardar said.

The injured were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where Rasel and Mamun were released after receiving primary treatment, said Sub-inspector Bacchu Miah of DMCH Police Camp.
